After yesterday’s adjournment, the next sitting of Parliament will be at 2.00 p.m. on June 29. This will be the first instance where Parliament will meet in the afternoon following the recent decision by party leaders to hold sessions late in the day.

However, on June 30, when the second reading of the Budget is scheduled to be taken up, Parliament will sit for a marathon 12 hours from 9.30 a..m to 9.30 p.m. The second reading of the Budget proposals is expected to continue till July 2.

It has been decided to hold Parliamentary sessions from 9.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. on July 03 as well.
